Seacliff Serenity, acrylic on canvas 12x24 inches

Seacliff beach is a place that will always be special to me. I have many fond memories of going there as a kid, and have gone there countless times as an adult as well. The old concrete ship docked at the pier, called the SS Palo Alto, has broken apart in the last few years. The pier itself has also now been removed, but I choose to paint both of these features with the silhouette that I remember. This will always be what Seacliff looks like in my mind.
